Depends on the reasons, in theatre/stage/film/tv/drag yeah its fun and entertaining. A little cover up of spots, or a little bit of toning if you look a bit rough, then all cool if you can't tell its there (which is the point). If you look like an umper-lumper and can't move your face muscles then its probably a little overboard.
